Orbit Rush Privacy Policy

TheDogBowl Studio · Last updated 27 September 2026

This policy explains what information the Orbit Rush game for Android (“the game”) uses, why, and the choices you have. Orbit Rush is made by TheDogBowl Studio (“we”, “us”), which is the data controller for the game.

In short: the game has no accounts and we don’t collect personal information ourselves. Your scores and progress stay on your device. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some information from your device to show and measure those ads, as described below.

1. Information stored on your device

The game saves the following on your device only, so you can pick up where you left off:

  • your best scores and highest level reached
  • gems collected, skins unlocked and the skin you’ve selected
  • mission progress and your daily challenge streak
  • your ad consent choice (see section 3)

We never receive this information. If you have Android’s backup turned on, Android may include it in the backup of your device to your own Google account, under Google’s control. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the game or clearing its storage (Settings → Apps → Orbit Rush → Storage → Clear storage).

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game is free and is supported by ads from Google AdMob, provided by Google. There are two kinds of ad:

  • an optional ad you can choose to watch after a game over to continue with an extra life
  • an occasional full-screen ad between games

To show, measure and protect these ads, Google may collect and process information from your device, including:

  • device identifiers, such as your device’s advertising ID
  • your IP address and approximate location based on it
  • device and app information, such as the device model, operating system version and language
  • how you interact with the ads, such as views and taps
  • crash and performance data about the ad software

Google uses this information to deliver ads, to measure them, to prevent fraud and, if you allow it, to personalise ads. Google acts under its own privacy policy. For more, see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Google may share information with advertising partners it works with.

3. Your choices about ads

  • UK, EEA and Switzerland: when you first open the game, a consent message from Google asks whether you agree to your information being used for personalised ads and related purposes. The game does not load ads until you’ve answered. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy options button on the game’s main menu.
  • Everyone: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (on most devices: Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
  • If you don’t allow personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised ads, which are based on things like the general location and the app rather than your past activity.

4. Legal basis (UK and EU players)

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, personalised advertising relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time as described above. Non-personalised advertising, ad measurement and fraud prevention rely on legitimate interests: keeping the game free and protecting it and advertisers from abuse.

5. Permissions the game uses

  • Internet access: to load ads and the consent message
  • Vibration: for haptic effects during play

The game does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location.

6. Children

Orbit Rush is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game in a way that caused information to be collected, please contact us and we’ll help.

7. How long information is kept

Information stored on your device stays there until you clear the game’s storage or uninstall it. Information collected by Google for advertising is kept according to Google’s retention policy.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because we don’t hold personal information about you ourselves, most of these requests are best handled through the choices in section 3 or through Google. We’re happy to help with any request: contact us using the details below.

If you’re in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if the game gains new features. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will also be noted in the game’s Google Play listing.
